2022 highlights
What happened for Paul in 2022
Peter Jackson’s “The Beatles: Get Back” documentary was released in November 2021, and its promotion continued in early 2022, with the release of the rooftop concert on IMAX theatres, the release of the rooftop concert’s audio soundtrack on streaming platforms and the release of Peter Jackson’s 8-hours documentary on DVD / Blu-Ray.
The first Paul McCartney release of 2022 was a re-release of the album “Wild Life“, which reached its 50th anniversary in December 2021. A limited half-speed mastered vinyl was reissued in February 2022 (similar to what had been done to celebrate “McCartney” and “RAM” at 50).
After 3 years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 global health crisis, Paul McCartney returned to touring in April-June, with the “Got Back” US tour. In June, at now 80 years old, he headlined the Glastonbury Festival.
In August, a boxset of his three solo albums – “McCartney“, “McCartney II” and “McCartney III” – was released.
In October, The Beatles’ 1966 album “Revolver” was reissued, having been remixed by Giles Martin using some technology developed for Peter Jackson’s “The Beatles: Get Back“.
In December, “The 7” Singles Box“, a box set of 80 singles, was released to celebrate Paul McCartney’s 80th birthday. Also, “If These Walls Could Sing“, Mary McCartney’s documentary about the Abbey Road Studios, featuring interviews with her father, was released in the US.

How do you get a copy of signed books. I purchased The Lyrics Book. I didn’t know you could get signed copies. How do you know when they get released. I’m 62 years old and love his music. Also love Linda’s cook books. Please let me know how to find a signing sale.

Hi Robert, I'm afraid it's too late to purchase one of those signed copies. And unfortunately, there is a lot of speculation (eg. https://www.ebay.com/itm/284541891134 at $8,000)
